A 37-year-old Lebanon mother has died after a two-vehicle crash in Lebanon at the city’s Public Square on Monday, according to police.
The mother was driving with her 3-year-old son in a four-door sedan, police said. The mother was taken to a medical facility and died from her injuries, police said.
The child was treated at a local hospital and has been released, according to police.

Sandra Lee Strickland, 70, of Lebanon is charged with DUI first offense and vehicular homicide by intoxication, according to police. Police administered sobriety tests after the wreck.

Strickland was driving a gray SUV, police said.
Police believe the gray SUV Strickland was driving hit another vehicle near West Main Street and North Greenwood Street around 5 p.m., about two blocks from the square.
The SUV continued and eastbound toward the square, police said. The SUV did not appear to brake as it entered the roundabout portion of the square and struck the tan sedan, according to police based on eyewitness reports.
The SUV eventually came to a stop upon the monument at the center of the square. The sedan came to rest on the southeast side of the roundabout on the square, police said.
Strickland was booked with a bond of $250,000 on the vehicular homicide charge and $1,500 for the DUI charge, according to jail records.
Other charges are pending, according to police.
The female driver of the first vehicle struck by the sedan was treated at the scene and released.
