Russian army advances again near ​​Pisky, but without success – General Staff report

The General Staff has reported that during the day, Russian troops again tried to advance in the area of ​​the settlement of Pisky, but were unsuccessful.

Details: The General Staff reports that Russian forces have used tanks and various types of artillery to fire on the Avdiivka front. They made another attempt at an offensive near ​​the settlement of Pisky, but without success; the fighting continues.



Russian troops have been shelling Chernihiv Oblast using tubed and rocket artillery in order to restrain the Ukrainian forces. They also conducted aerial reconnaissance.

There was similar shelling on the Kharkiv front. On the Sloviansk front, the Russian forces are using tanks, tubed and rocket artillery to bombard the areas near the settlements of Bohorodychne, Mazanivka, Husarivka, Adamivka, Kurulka, Khrestyshche, Sulyhivka, Dovhenke and Velyka Komyshuvakha.

The Russian invaders tried to advance near Dolyna and Bohorodychne, but thanks to the skillful actions of the Ukrainian military, these actions ended with the Russian forces collapsing and withdrawing.

On the Donetsk front, the Russian occupying forces are trying to displace units of the [Ukrainian] Defence Forces from occupied positions using tanks, tubed and rocket artillery. They conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.

Shelling of military and civilian infrastructure was recorded on the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut fronts. The occupiers tried to improve their tactical position in the areas of Bakhmut, Soledar, Yakovlivka and Vershyna by conducting offensive actions, but were unsuccessful and withdrew. Fighting continues near Travneve and Kodema. 

On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the Russian forces did not conduct active offensive actions, but opened fire using tanks, tube and rocket artillery along the entire contact line. They carried out airstrikes near Novopillia. Russian troops unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences near Marinka, suffered losses and withdrew.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on preventing the advancement of units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine deep into the temporarily occupied territory. Ukrainian soldiers stopped the aggressors’ offensive actions in the areas of Bilohirka…
