Danilov on the counteroffensive by Ukraine’s Armed Forces: Let’s be patient, don’t believe the ”armchair” experts

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, called for patience with regard to the counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since it is the military, headed by the Commander-in-Chief, and not “armchair” experts, who determine the timing.

Quote: “Let’s be calm about these things, about when this [counteroffensive – ed.] will take place. The military know what they are doing, they know when they need to start, and most importantly, how to carry out their mission for our country quickly and with minimal losses: to liberate our territories from the occupier”.

Details: According to Danilov, the so-called “armchair” experts do not have information about the real situation.

At the same time, Danilov stressed that Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts have already been liberated from the occupiers. He emphasised that “one must be patient and see all this with one’s own eyes.”

Previously: In late July, analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Ukrainian forces were likely preparing to launch or had already launched a counteroffensive in the Kherson Oblast.
