Quote: “Next week we plan to join the port of Pivdennyi to the ‘grain initiative’. An operating corridor of three ports – Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi – will allow us to reach 3 million tonnes of exports of Ukrainian agricultural products within a month”.

Details: As of today, a total of four vessels have left two ports – one from the port of Odesa and three from the port of Chernomorsk.

It is noted that today, for the first time since 24 February, a ship for loading grain entered Ukraine – the bulk carrier FULMAR S under the flag of Barbados will berth in Chornomorsk tomorrow for loading corn.

Background: On 1 August, the first ship left Odesa under the Istanbul agreements on the “grain corridor”, and two days later representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the United Nations, which are part of the Joint Coordination Centre in Istanbul, completed its inspection.
