A
collaborator responsible for spreading Russian propaganda in the
occupied port city of Melitopol was recently injured in an explosion,
Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov revealed on Telegram on Aug. 12.

“Now Shostak will definitely not be able to sit on a chair evenly – that part of his body is literally blown up,” wrote Fedorov sarcastically.

Earlier this week, the Melitopol headquarters of the Russian ruling “United Russia” party, where the invaders formed false voter lists and organized bribery campaigns intended to induce Ukrainian citizens to vote in a sham annexation “referendum”, was also blown up.

“The bottom line: the frightened invaders realized that even when armed to the teeth they still couldn’t find a safe place on Ukrainian soil,” Fedorov said.

In addition, the house of another collaborator was burned down last week, the mayor revealed. It belonged to a cohabitant of the occupation commandant of one of the villages in the Melitopol region.

There was also a knife attack on two henchmen of the occupation authority, who “ran around the villages with the “lists” of unclear purpose.

“Result: all the residents of several settlements will flatly refuse to help the invaders from now on,” the mayor emphasized.

“An explosive warning from the Melitopol underground – the hunt for collaborators which are preparing the pseudo-referendum, has begun,” said Fedorov, expressing his gratitude to the “hundreds of Melitopol residents” that provide Ukraine with intelligence regarding the activities and members of the “election commissions” of the occupying power.
