Soldiers from the Mykolayiv Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of
Ukraine’s Armed Forces have destroyed a Russian car with almost its entire
crew, the Command of Airborne Assault Forces said in a Facebook post on Aug.
20.
According to the Command, during reconnaissance and search operations, soldiers from a reconnaissance unit discovered a backroad used by enemy vehicles.
“A surprise awaited the invaders at one of the sections of the road in the form of a landmine, which went off when the enemy car drove on it,” the report says.
“The enemy vehicle and almost its entire crew were destroyed thanks to the skillful actions of our paratroopers.”
As reported earlier, the Ukrainian military said it had destroyed a convoy of Russian military equipment outside Mariupol heading toward Zaporizhzhya.
