Russian rocket artillery has attacked the towns of Nikopol and Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, killing at least two people, regional governor Valentyn Reznichenko said in a Telegram post on Sept. 23.

According to Reznichenko, the barrage included around 30 rounds, and killed two people in Marhanets, leaving nine more injured. First responders rescued three people from beneath the rubble.

At least 18 residential buildings were damaged across the two cities, while infrastructure damage left 2,200 households without power.

Emergency services are working on site, and further damage reports are still coming in.
