Quote: “Members of the Security Service of Ukraine have obtained a complete list of the enemy accomplices who willingly agreed to be in charge of the so-called ‘territorial electoral commissions’ [in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast]. More than 390 collaborators have now been identified. The Security Service has also identified all the organisers of the illegal activity and established their personal details and their locations.”

Details: The list of collaborators in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region was published on the SSU’s website. In total, over a thousand Russian security officials who are supposed to facilitate “security” at the pseudo-voting events have been identified. They include units of the National Guard of Russia, the military police of the Armed Forces of Russia, and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

They will be assisted by collaborators who joined the Russian-established “main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zaporizhzhia Oblast”. In addition, Russia is trying to recruit a network of private security companies to control those taking part in the “referendum”.

The collaborators will be prosecuted under Article 28 part 2 and Article 111-1 part 5 (collaborationist activity) and Article 110 part 2 (encroachment on territorial integrity).

Background: On 20 September it was revealed that the occupiers are planning to hold pseudo-referendums on the integration of the occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts into Russia between 23 and 27 September.
