First train since the beginning of war arrives in Mykolaiv

Ukrzaliznytsia (National Railway of Ukraine – ed.) has resumed rail services with the city of Mykolaiv for the first time since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Details: The first train from Kyiv arrived in Mykolaiv on the morning of 15 November.

The first passengers disembarked onto the platform at the oblast’s centre.

They were welcomed with hugs and smiles. 

The shattered windows of the railway station in Mykolaiv are filled with sandbags.
