Lviv already has electricity and heat supply


The power supply has been restored to half of Lviv, while 70% of the water supply has been  restored.

Quote from Sadovyi: “Half of Lviv has had power restored. But remember that scheduled blackouts will continue.



Seventy per cent of the water supply in the city has been restored. Some buildings only have running water on the ground floor, but this is temporary.

As for heating, we are relaunching the local thermoelectric power plants and working to restore heating and the supply of hot water.”

Details: Sadovyi said that schools and kindergartens will continue working as usual unless another emergency occurs. Around 75% of all traffic lights in the city have resumed working.

Previously: Russian forces carried out two missile strikes on power substations in Lviv Oblast around 16:00 on 23 November, leaving 1.5 million households without power.

At 21:25 Sadovyi reported that “Lviv already has electricity”.

“But the city has planned blackouts, so some homes may be without electricity. Water and heat supply have also been restored. All city services are working,” he wrote.
