The ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ camp has been hit by two COVID-19 cases.

The ITV reality show has tightened its COVID-19 safety measures after two members of the production team tested positive for the virus, just days ahead of the final on Sunday (27.11.22).

A spokesperson for ITV told OK!: “We can confirm a couple of production team members have tested positive for coronavirus. The protocols we have in place for such an eventuality have been implemented and filming has continued as we adhere to all covid guidelines.”

They added: “We have stringent measures in place across site, safety is paramount on the show.”

Fortunately, the final will still go ahead.

Chris Moyles became the sixth contestant to be eliminated from the camp on Thursday’s (24.11.22) episode.

Upon his exit from the Aussie jungle, the former BBC Radio 1 DJ quipped that he can’t believe former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is more popular with viewers than he was.

He said: “I’m gutted that Matt Hancock is more popular than me. What the bejeezus is going on?”

However, it’s an experience he’ll never forget.

He laughed: “I’m the only person leaving camp with more fear than when they went in!”

Chris, 48, added: “I’d often be the last one to bed and I’d walk back into camp after going to the dunny and I’d just stare at it like, this is amazing, but it is a massive privilege to do it. I can’t tell you the feeling of it.”

When asked who he’d like to see crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, he said either ‘Hollyoaks’ star Owen Warner, Lioness Jill Scott or former rugby star Mike Tindall.
