This would be done constitutionally, and the MPs “won’t have a chance to appeal to a court,” Arakhamia wrote.
“It’s the right way to get rid of collaborators, unlike those provocations that play into the hands of such people regardless of their party affiliation,” his message reads.
Arakhamia said “people remember everyone, and no one will go unpunished.”
“This story will definitely be continued, but it will be continued according to law and the Constitution of Ukraine,” he said.
Earlier, Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk wrote on Facebook that he has already received a presidential decree on stripping Viktor Medvedchuk, Andrii Derkach, Taras Kozak and Renat Kuzmin of their Ukrainian citizenship.
He said parliament will urgently consider the matter of early termination of powers of the MPs at its next plenary session.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr President said in his evening address of Jan. 10 that the four MPs, who are suspected of high treason, are to be deprived of their Ukrainian citizenship.
