US President Joe Biden has stated that his country is not planning to send F-16 fighters to Ukraine.

“When our journalist Yulia Yarmolenko asked Joe Biden whether the US would provide Ukraine with F-16 fighters, he replied ‘no’,” Yarysh tweeted.

Sky News also reported that Biden has ruled out supplying Ukraine with the fighters.

Yarysh later added that Biden was asked this question as he was stepping out of a helicopter and had approached reporters only briefly. The president did not go into any details.
“Earlier, the White House stated that it did not rule out supplying Ukraine with any type of weaponry, including F-16 fighters. We will try to ask [the government] for an explanation,” Yarysh said.
