Tanyel Revan explains ‘unusually long’ kiss with Ron Hall on Love Island

Love Island's Tanyel Revan fears she might vomit in the show's villa because of a 'weird phobia'

Tanyel Revan kissed Ron Hall on ‘Love Island’ because they are “best friends.”

Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX and can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player

The 26-year-old hair stylist is currently taking part in the hit ITV2 reality dating show and on Thursday’s (02.02.23) episode, took part in a challenge in which the girls kissed the blindfolded boys and explained that her passionate snog with financial advisor Ron, 25, was down to the fact that she felt “comfortable” despite it causing concern to the other Islanders.

She said: “I just don’t get why Olivia is so concerned, like, I kissed Ron because he is my best friend in here to give him a proper little smooch because I know I wouldn’t care and I know I just felt comfortable. But that is the only reason why and it’s not because I fancy him.”

While discussing the kiss later on, Lana Jenkins – who was initially coupled up with Ron at the beginning of the show but is now seeing Aaron Waters in the South African villa – admitted that the kiss went on for so long that she ended up having to “look away.”

The winner of the challenge was biomedical science student Tanya Manhenga, 22, who won the title of Top Snogger in the game but following her victory, her Island boyfriend Shaq Muhammad was left feeling “hurt” after watching her kiss the other boys.

He was heard saying: “I’m not an idiot, I don’t care if it’s a challenge, there was a way for her to go about it and be respectful but she ain’t respectful. I can’t like I can’t chat to her right now. “

In tomorrow’s episode, one of the boys will be dumped from the ‘Love Island’ villa after viewers vote to save their favourite, although new bombshells Casey O’Gorman and Jordan Ordofin are exempt.

‘Love Island’ next airs on Friday (03.02.23) at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX and can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
