Aurora police are investigating a stabbing Friday evening at a business in the city’s downtown area, officials said.

Police responded to reports that someone had been stabbed inside a business in the 100 block of West Downer Place around 8 p.m. Friday, officials said.

Officials said one person is in custody in connection with the incident. The person who was stabbed is in stable condition, police said Saturday.

Aurora police said an investigation is ongoing into the incident.
