A federal judge dismissed for a second time a racketeering lawsuit against McKinsey & Co. brought by Jay Alix, ruling that the founder of turnaround consulting firm AlixPartners lacked standing to sue.
Alix’s namesake firm had assigned him its legal claims against McKinsey, but the assignment didn’t specify they were racketeering claims as required by federal law, Judge Jesse Furman of the U.S. District Court in New York ruled Wednesday.
