A 56-year-old Cocoa Beach man who police said allowed over 50 juveniles to gather at his home for a house party — including one who may have had a gun — was arrested over the weekend.
Cocoa Beach police were called about 11:26 p.m. Saturday night to a home on Capri Road after reports of teenagers swarming the home. Officers said about 50 teens were at the residence, with the homeowner, identified as Mark Reisinger, inside.
Cocoa Beach police broke up a house party late Saturday night, charging the homeowner with hosting a house party.
Police determined that Reisinger had allowed the teens to gather at his home. He was charged with one count of having an open house party and resisting an officer with violence, jail reports show.
The arrest comes two months after Cocoa Beach police charged an elementary school principal and a teacher in connection with a house party that included over 100 juveniles, including a number of underage drinkers.
Reisinger was booked into the Brevard County Jail Complex and was released on a $750 bond, jail records show.
