The 77-year-old actor is open to the idea of a collaboration with his 31-year-old son and son-in-law – who married his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 – but insisted they wouldn’t do so for the sake of it as the script would have to be good enough.
He told E! News of the possibility: “It’s one of those things that if there’s a great script, then of course, we would do it.
“But you can’t just make up this stuff. You can’t just say, ‘OK, let’s just put the three together in a movie and not have a great script.’ “
The Fubar star called on filmmakers to make the project happen.
He said: “You don’t have to talk about it, just do it.”
Arnold – who, as well as Katherine, 35, and Patrick, 31, also has Christina, 33, and Christopher, 27, with ex-wife Maria Shriver and Joseph Baena, 27, with Mildren Baena – is also open to the idea of following in his son’s footsteps and starring in The White Lotus.
Asked if he’d be interested in a role in the anthology series, he said: “Whenever I see something good, I am interested in it, so we will see.”
