According to Polish radio station RMF FM, the wreckage was discovered by a combine operator in a cornfield. Early reports by law enforcement indicate that it was one of the drones that violated Polish airspace on the night of 9-10 September.
Polish authorities had officially reported that around 20 Russian drones entered its airspace that night, with some flying nearly 300 km deep from the eastern border.
Background: On 18 September, Ukraine and Poland agreed to set up a Joint Working Group on unmanned aerial vehicles, composed of representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish armed forces.
