The Oasis frontman, 52, made the gesture during the band’s sold-out Wembley Stadium performance on Saturday (27.09.25) night, as Paul, 59, faces trial on multiple charges including rape – allegations he denied at Harrow Crown Court, which was sitting at Southwark Crown Court, on Friday (26.09.25.) 

He pleaded not guilty to rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. 

According to the charge sheet, the alleged offences occurred between 2022 and 2024.

Oasis have returned to the UK for two final shows at Wembley as part of their Live ’25 tour, before continuing to Japan, South Korea, Australia and South America.

The concerts mark the first time the band have reunited for a tour since their split in 2009.

The Gallagher brothers arrived on stage hand-in-hand on Saturday, with Liam carrying a maraca, and opened the set with Hello, the first track from their 1995 album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?.

Liam greeted the Wembley crowd, asking: “Have you missed us?” before launching into a run of anthems including Some Might Say, Morning Glory and Roll With It.
