A British volunteer fighter Paul Urey,
who was defending Ukraine from Russian aggression, allegedly died on
July 10 while being in Russian captivity, Russian propaganda news
outlet RIA Novosti reported on July 15.

The serviceman was captured by representatives of the so-called “DPR” (“Donetsk People’s Republic”) in April.

According to Kremlin propaganda, Urey’s death was allegedly caused by “disease and stress,” but this information is in question, since there is a lot of evidence that the invaders subject abducted people to severe torture.

In addition, representatives of the sham republics in the Donbas have repeatedly openly threatened to execute captured foreigners, ignoring any international conventions.
