The Russian military shot over 60 multiple
rocket launcher rounds at the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the
night of July 18, damaging houses in residential areas and urban
infrastructure, announced the head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military
Administration Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram.
“Early reports indicate one person was wounded,” he wrote.
“It was a 75-year-old woman. She is in the hospital.”
Reznichenko specified that about ten residential houses were destroyed as a result of the attack. Water supply and gas pipeline were damaged on one of the city’s streets. The hospital, industrial and energy enterprises, as well as the port, all sustained damage.
Invading Russian forces attacked Nikopol on the night of July 18.
The last time the city was attacked was on 16 July. Two people were confirmed dead after their bodies were pulled out from under the rubble of a residential building. Russian troops had fired 53 rockets at the city.
