The ‘Big Brother’ winner has her concerns comforted by her co-star Alison Hammond – who also catapulted to fame on the Channel 4 reality show and co-hosts the ITV daytime talk show on Fridays with Dermot O’Leary – who tells her “everyone deserves to be there”.

The 37-year-old television presenter told said: “I get nervous all the time and it’s three-and-and-a-half years along the line and I still get nervous to this day. Now and again, I’ve got to give myself a little talking to – because I sometimes get imposter syndrome – ‘What am I doing here? How did this happen? How did I get myself into this?’ Alison always says everyone deserves to be there.”

Josie called the gig “the best job ever” and “never in a million years” thought she would ever present the ITV show, which is fronted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Mondays to Thursdays.

Josie said: “It is a massive, massive deal and I still can’t believe they trust me with the job! I feel so honoured. If you had said to me, ‘One day, you will be hosting This Morning’ – the biggest daytime TV show in the UK, I would have probably burst out laughing. Never in a million years did I think I’d be doing something like this. But I can’t wait – I love working at This Morning so much, I’ve got the best job ever!”

Josie – who hosts features such as ‘Josie’s Camping Capers’ when she is in her roving reporter role on the show – named Alison as her “dream” co-presenter.

After being asked who that might be, Josie quipped: “Alison Hammond, obviously!”

The ‘Cooking With the Stars’ contestant – who is mother to three-year old Reggie with her ex Terry James – admitted she wants the show to win another National Television Award or TV Choice Award because she has “always” wanted to scoop a prize at a swanky ceremony.

She said: “It would mean having to build more shelf space! I’m joking, it would be absolutely incredible because it’s nice that you are part of an award-winning show. I always want to know what it feels like to go up and collect an award on stage, so I’m really happy that we’ve been nominated! Please vote so I know how it feels to be on the stage!”
