A long-range Russian attack on Mykolayiv
has struck a maintenance facility in the city’s industrial zone, head of
Mykolayiv regional administration, Vitaliy Kim, said in a Telegram post on July
27.
Preliminary reports suggest there were no casualties, but these are pending further confirmation.
Mykolayiv and surrounding areas were hit by another Russian missile strike on July 26, which targeted local port infrastructure and other civilian objects.
Notably, the attack was partially carried out with S-300 missiles – an anti-air surface-to-air (SAM) defense system – which was instead used to strike targets on the ground.
