A Russian missile struck a specialized children’s school in the village of Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhya Oblast in the morning on Oct. 20, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, President’s Office deputy chief-of-staff has reported on Telegram.

The missile strike happened at around 7.20 a.m, Tymoshenko wrote.

“Information about the amount of destruction and casualties is being verified,” he said.

Later on, Tymoshenko added that there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were destroyed, he said.

Russia now attacks the city of Zaporizhzhya and the surrounding oblast practically every day, with missiles frequently hitting residential buildings.

The enemy attacked Zaporizhzhya with kamikaze drones on the night of Oct. 15, hitting infrastructure facilities. Ten S-300 missiles were fired at the city later that morning.

Russian invasion forces hit an energy infrastructure object in the area on Oct. 19.
