Russia attacks numerous Ukrainian settlements in east and south

These strikes targeted civil infrastructure in Bakhmut, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv and the village of Novotavryches’ke in Zaporizhzhzya Oblast.

Additionally, the General Staff reported that the Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions:

• around Kharkiv, from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery in and near to the settlements of Hryhorivka, Krasne, Ohirtseve, Starytsia, Petro-Ivanivka, Fyholivka, Khatnje, Chervona Zoria and Chuhunivka;
• in and around the Donbas settlements of Berestove, Hrekivka, Zarichne, Kovalivka, Makiivka, Yampolivka, Kamianka and Bilohorivka;
• In and around the key Donbas town of Bakhmut from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery on Bahmutske, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Zelenopillia, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, New York, Ozarianivka, Opytna, Soledar, Spirne and Yakovlivka settlements;
• in and around the Donetsk town of Avdiivka from tanks and multicaliber artillery on Avdiivka, Opytne, Vodiane, Nevel’s’ke, Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Pervomaiske, Novomyhailivka, Maryinka, Prechystivka, Novopil’, Novosilka and Zaliznychne settlments;
• in the south of the country in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, from cannon and rocket artillery on Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Mykil’s’ke, Ol’hivs’ke, Pavlivka and Shevchenko;
• around the southern front between Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts, including the settlements of Shevchenkove, Ternovi Pody, Myrne, Novohryhorivka, Kvitneve, Kyselivka, Blahodativka, Novopoltavka, Bilohirka, Davydiv Brid and Tryfonivka;
•  infrastructure in the towns of Nikopol and Illinka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were also damaged due to cannon and rocket artillery shelling.
