earlier-reported hit on a Russian troop barracks in Kherson Oblast by Ukrainian
forces was confirmed by the Ukrainian military’s General Staff in its morning
report on Nov. 13.
According to the confirmed reports, the Ukrainian military scored a precise hit on a building containing up to 500 Russian troops near the settlement of Dnipryana, close to Nova Kakhovka on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Two truckloads of bodies of Russian soldiers were taken away to Tavriisk, to the east of Nova Kakhovka, the reports said.
Fifty-six seriously wounded soldiers were taken to the nearest hospital, of whom 16 died shortly after, Ukraine’s General Staff said. The final reports on the losses by the invaders are being verified.
Meanwhile, mopping up operations are ongoing in the liberated settlements of Kherson Oblast. The Russians continue fortifying their defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian defense forces repelled Russian attacks in the areas of 12 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. The Russian army launched four missile strikes and 16 airstrikes, and fired more than 40 times with rocket launchers.
The situation has not changed significantly on the Volyn and Polissia areas. In the Sloboda, Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, Zaporizhzhia, Tavriysk areas of the front, the Russians shelled around a number of settlements with various types of weapons.
During the day, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out 13 air strikes on the enemy. Eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as five positions with Russian anti-aircraft missile systems were hit.
