One poll showed that 52% of voters said crime was the most important issue, dwarfing all others. Lori Lightfoot’s
dubious legacy of progressive policies.
In other words, Chicago voters complained loudly about crime, then voted to stay the course.
It’s like a football team on the one-yard line trying to run the ball up the middle over and over without scoring. U.S. cities like Chicago elect people to do the same things that lead to the same disastrous results.
