Oscars 2024: A complete list of winners

It’s Hollywood’s biggest night: The 2024 Oscars ceremony kicked off on Sunday evening with host Jimmy Kimmel.

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer leads with 13 nominations across categories including best picture, best director and best actor, while Killers of the Flower MoonBarbiePoor Things and Anatomy of a Fall are also gearing up for a big night. The internet’s beloved celebrity dog actor, Messi from Anatomy of a Fall, is in attendance.

It’s a remarkable year for Canadians at the Academy Awards, with Barbie‘s Ryan Gosling in contention for best supporting actor and writer-director Celine Song’s Past Lives nominated for best picture and best original screenplay. Musician Robbie Robertson is posthumously nominated for composing Killers of the Flower Moon‘s original score.

The ceremony began airing on ABC at 7 p.m. ET and is streaming on ABC’s website (an hour earlier than usual). CBC News reporter Eli Glasner is on the ground at famed Oscars venue the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
