Timberwolves superstar guard Anthony Edwards has signed a massive multi-year shoe deal with Adidas. Shams Charania of The Athletic shared that the deal has reached eight figures annually.

Edwards is a rising star in the league and is soon set to be a global star. The 22-year-old has an AE-1 shoe line with Adidas that has grown in popularity since April. The deal makes Edwards one of the company’s top faces, and his rise in fame should only increase from here on out. Although Edwards just finished his fourth season in the NBA, he’s already established himself as a superstar in this league and has already taken the Timberwolves to new heights.
This shoe deal is just the beginning, and it didn’t come by no mistake. Before this multi-year deal was announced, Edwards and Adidas announced they would drop the AE-1 Low “Night Indigo” on Aug. 15.
This past season, Edwards led Minnesota to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, sweeping the Phoneix Suns in the first round and defeating the 2023 NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets, in the second round to advance to the West Conference Finals for the first since 2004. Although Edwards and the Timberwolves fell short to the Dallas Mavericks, make no mistake, the Timberwolves are here to stay, and it’s all thanks to Edwards and his phenomenal play.
