Trackhouse Racing Confirms Shocking Exit Of Partner Ahead Of Move To Rival

Trackhouse Racing confirms the shocking exit of partner, Ty Norris, who will be making the move to Kaulig Racing as Chief Business Officer with immediate effect.

Justin Marks, co-founder of Trackhouse Racing, acknowledged Norris’s departure with a heartfelt message on social media. He wrote:

“This guy is the best ever at building teams. His grind, commitment, and dedication will echo forever at Trackhouse as we grow and continue to do amazing things. Best of all I gained a great friend that will continue to be, always. Thank you Tyrone.”

Kaulig Racing has also officially announced the appointment of Norris, stating:

“Today Kaulig Racing announces the addition of NASCAR industry veteran Ty Norris to the team. Norris will serve as the team’s Chief Business Officer, focusing on partnerships and long-term strategy alongside owner Matt Kaulig and team President Chris Rice.

“Bringing Norris and his wealth of knowledge to the executive team is one of several major moves Kaulig and Rice are making to solidify the trajectory of its NASCAR Cup Series program well into the future.”

Norris’s impressive resume spans over two decades, during which he played pivotal roles at Dale Earnhardt Inc. from 1996 to 2004, briefly at Speedway Motorsports Inc., nearly a decade at Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR), and more recently at Spire Sports + Entertainment and Trackhouse Racing. Notably, Norris was instrumental in guiding Trackhouse Racing from its foundation on the remains of Chip Ganassi Racing in 2021, helping establish it as a competitive force in the NASCAR Cup Series.
