Details: When asked by a journalist if Trump had asked him anything, Zelenskyy said: “Yes, of course, a lot.”

Among the questions Trump asked him, the Ukrainian president named the following: “What is the real current situation on the battlefield?”, “How do you see the support from the United States?” and “Why do you think Putin began this invasion?”.

Zelenskyy noted that Trump did not mention his visit to Pennsylvania, which had prompted US House Speaker Mike Johnson to demand that Zelenskyy recall Ukraine’s ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova.

Asked if he had plans to recall Markarova after Johnson’s demand, Zelenskyy said: “I am the president of Ukraine and I can discuss our ambassadors only with the speaker [of the parliament] of my country. That’s the Constitution. I can’t discuss this with Speaker Johnson, with all due respect.”
