The royal mother-of-three, 42, is continuing to make a slow return to the spotlight and formal duties after she recently completed a gruelling course of preventative cancer treatment, and it has now been reported she will be seen in public this weekend to mark the annual events.

According to Mail Online, Catherine “is expected to attend Remembrance Sunday events this weekend after her husband Prince William said she was ‘doing really well’”.

It added Caterine has “spoken with aides about staging her annual Christmas carol service in December”.

The outlet said she had held a meeting about the event with her team at Windsor Castle in September.

Remembrance Day will mark the day World War One ended, and traditionally involves senior royals laying wreaths at the Cenotaph in London, while the UK holds a moment of silence at 11am as part of the commemorations.

The report Catherine is gearing up for the events comes after Prince William, 42, said she is “doing really well” following her health fight.

He gave a rare update on his wife’s health amid his four-day visit to South Africa for his environmental efforts – almost two months after she declared she was “cancer-free” on September 9, after completing chemotherapy treatment.
