York U. graduates

York College of Pennsylvania has awarded degrees to the following area students:

Master of public policy: Yuri Evans, Sinking Spring; Alyson Hatfield, Douglassville.

Bachelor of science: Patricia Powers, Douglassville, recreational leadership; Sage Sabo, Bechtelsville, human services; John Wagner, Birdsboro, biology. Bethany Werley, Blandon, nursing.

IUP honorees

The following area students have been named Provost Scholars at Indiana University of Pennsylvania:

Georgia L. Heintzman, Spring Township, music education major; Jacqueline J. Harding, Spring Township, nursing; Sadie G. Eggleston, Fleetwood, interior design; Jacob M. Engbert, Richmond Township, geography and geographic information science; Riley Slifer, Leesport, accounting; Rachel H. Knight, Caernarvon Township, natural Science/pre-physical therapy; Alyssa Gillner, Exeter Township, speech-language pathology.

Research presented

Rini Kaneria, Wernersville, a student in the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program at Des Moines University in Iowa, presented research on “Comparing Modalities for 3D Data Collection in Paleontology and Paleoanthropology” at DMU’s 2024 Research Symposium. The annual event highlights groundbreaking student, faculty and community research in health care and biomedical sciences.
