Ukrainian military reports repelling powerful Russian attack on Kupiansk front – video

Ukrainian defenders repelled a robust Russian attack on the Kupiansk front and destroyed a group of Russian armoured vehicles.

Details: The military reported that the Russians used five armoured vehicles in the assault–two tanks and three infantry fighting vehicles with troops.

The convoy was detected promptly by aerial reconnaissance. Even before approaching the landing site, the Russian infantry fighting vehicles were attacked–unsuccessfully.

Already at the landing site, when the Russian infantry began to abandon the vehicles, the Ukrainian brigade’s pilots started to use drones to drop explosives. 

These attacks destroyed the vehicles.

The Russian personnel tried to hide in the forest, where they were killed and wounded by drone strikes.

Background: On 21 December, Russia lost another 1,820 soldiers killed and wounded in the war against Ukraine.
