These Binghamton-area roads will be under construction this week: Check the map

The summer months are a busy time for road crews, working on repairs across Broome County before the cold sets in.

Cold weather is slowly creeping up, so crews are using the last of the good weather as an opportunity to follow through on pending projects.

A number of repairs, paving, and landscaping projects will be seen throughout the Southern Tier in the coming weeks. Motorists are advised to map out their daily travels ahead of time, and be aware of uneven roads, machinery, detours and roadblocks in select locations.
