Oliver Hudson revealed he said no to being adopted by Kurt Russell

The siblings’ parents, Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, split in 1980, with the ‘Death Becomes Her’ actress going on to find love with the ‘Silkwood’ star in 1983.

“There was a moment when he asked us, myself and Kate, if we wanted to be adopted, and we said no.

“Not that we were — you know, very aware of probably what it even f****** meant.

“We were six and 12 or however, I don’t remember the age, but we just said, ‘Well, we don’t need it. The love is right there.’”
