Families of soldiers of the Second Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces have been evacuated from occupied Luhansk, according to the morning report of the General Staff posted on Facebook on Jan. 24.

The “evacuation” is being carried out by the Russian occupation administration of Luhansk.

Families of Russian servicemen are being taken to Russia, the General Staff added.

On Jan. 23, Luhansk regional governor Serhiy Hayday showed images of the Russian-captured city of Popasna. Russian forces completely destroyed the town during their assault, and local collaborators decided not to restore it.
