Audi E-Tron GT 2025 refresh brings more power, longer range

Audi E-Tron GT gets faster for 2025

Audi’s flagship electric sedan, the sleek and powerful E-Tron GT, is getting a significant upgrade for the 2025 model year. Following the recent updates to its platform-sharing Porsche Taycan, the facelifted E-Tron GT promises faster acceleration and charging and longer range.

At the heart of these updates is a revised powertrain that Audi says will deliver more horsepower than the current RS e-tron GT’s 637 hp. No details were mentioned in what can be best described as a teaser, but we did learn the new version will pack a longer range.

Audi will likely keep its car slightly less powerful than its Porsche sibling, but may look to outdo it in the range department. Audi also promises a brand-new active suspension system that promises a refined ride without compromising the GT’s sharp handling capabilities.

An all-new flagship will join the ranks too – the Audi RS E-Tron GT Performance. This top-of-the-line variant echoes the naming conventions of Audi’s famous RS performance models, suggesting a power boost over the standard RS.

Beyond the performance upgrades, subtle design changes will freshen up the E-Tron GT’s 2025 model. The front bumper receives a slight redesign, featuring tweaks to the intakes and grille. A reshaped rear diffuser sharpens the tail end. Audi is also introducing a new set of aerodynamically optimized wheels to further enhance efficiency. Expect these changes and potentially new color options to help set it apart from the outgoing model.

Audi hasn’t announced an official unveiling date, but it can’t be long now that the teaser campaign has started.
