School officials say the new building is the second phase of the school’s campus expansion plan.

The 2,300 square foot addition will add administrative offices and three classrooms including the Chadbourne DeMaria Foundation Life Skills Center, which will offer hands-on opportunities that students need to “tackle daily tasks, practice workforce skills, and to gain experience to transition to adulthood and independent living.”
